Dr Cindy Yu is a dual-trained Endocrinologist and General Medicine Consultant who is dedicated to delivering high-quality, holistic patient care.

After completing her medical degree at the University of Queensland, Dr Yu undertook specialist training at various centres, including Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, Princess Alexandra Hospital and Townsville Hospital. Herextensive training across both metropolitan and regional hospitals has equipped her with broad clinical experience and a comprehensive, patient-centred approach. She is currently a Visiting Medical Officer at Queen Elizabeth II Hospital. She has expertise across the full spectrum of endocrinology and general medicine, with particular interests in diabetes, metabolic health, osteoporosis, thyroid and adrenal conditions.

To further strengthen her clinical and population health perspective, Dr Yu has also completed a Master of Public Health through James Cook University. This additional training supports her evidence-based approach and interest in preventative health and long-term disease management. She remains actively engaged in continuing professional development and is also committed to medical education as an Associate Lecturer at the University of Queensland.

Her dual training allows her to manage complex patients with multiple comorbidities, bridging the interface between endocrine disorders and general medical conditions.  Known for a compassionate and approachable style, Dr Yu values clear communication and collaborative care with both patients and referring practitioners.
